Threats Made Towards Dominion High School on Social Media Deemed Not Legitimate
                           
Loudoun County- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is advising threats made on social media towards Dominion High School are not legitimate. This evening a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer learned of the threat posted on social media towards the school in Sterling, Va.

The student involved who made the social media post has been identified and located. Although there were firearms located inside the home that belonged to a relative, the investigation determined there is no threat to the school. The firearms have been removed from the home. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the reported threat in coordination with Loudoun County Public Schools.
         
Additional deputies will be at Dominion High School on Wednesday as a precaution.

"The driver involved in a single-vehicle crash that took the life of a Leesburg woman early Tuesday morning has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. 

Andre M. Glenn, 26, of Sterling, was driving a Jeep Wrangler northbound on Route 28 around 2 a.m. on Feb. 21 when he struck a traffic divider just south of the Dulles Greenway. Two female passengers were both thrown from the vehicle while Glenn and a male passenger remained inside the Jeep. 

Gabrielle M. Perry, 22, lost her life at the scene."

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation into Brian Damron, a former Dominion High School band director accused of having sexual relationships with former students.

“In recent days, after allegations were made in another jurisdiction, new information has come to our attention and the Loudoun Sheriff's Office has opened up an investigation to determine if any criminal activity took place in Loudoun.”

Two charged with attempted murder in Lansdowne | LoudounTimes.com

Two men are charged with attempted murder after deputies said they shot multiple times at a man and woman while they sat in their car in Lansdowne on Monday.

Javier K. Todd, 19, of Leesburg, and Timothy R. Vaughn, 20, of Ashburn, are charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and shooting into a vehicle.

Both men remain held on no bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

The suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing a black mask (similar to a balaclava), a dark-colored jacket and dark jeans, the Loudoun police reported.

Cascades residents robbed at gunpoint in home | LoudounTimes.com

An unknown man with a gun robbed two Cascades residents Monday in an home invasion style heist, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. 

The man went into the home in the 11300 block of Stonehouse Place about 8 p.m., brandished a firearm and demanded money. 

The man and woman at the home told the gunman they had no money, so instead he took jewelry and a watch the two were wearing before fleeing on foot toward the Fairfax County line.

Police are investigating a home invasion style robbery at a home in the Cascades area on Monday night, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Police say an unknown male entered a home in the 11300 block of Stonehouse Place around 8 p.m. and brandished a firearm.

Va. Police Release Surveillance Video of Armed Bank Robbery

Police have released surveillance video of an armed bank robbery in Sterling.
Loudoun County Police say a man entered the Suntrust bank on Pidgeon Hill Drive shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 31 and brandished a gun. The man demanded cash and was last seen fleeing the bank on foot.

Suspect sought in Sterling 7-Eleven armed robbery

STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a Sterling, Va. 7-Eleven Sunday morning.
The robbery happened around 7 a.m. at the convenience store located in the 21900 block of Cascades Parkway, the sheriff's office said.
